This position is ideal for a makeup professional experienced in both airbrush and traditional makeup applications. You’ll work with clients for special events, weddings, photo sessions, and other occasions where polished, professional makeup is essential. Artists are expected to arrive prepared, maintain a clean and professional workspace, and contribute positively to the overall salon environment.
Applicants must hold a valid Michigan cosmetology or esthetician license, as makeup artistry is covered under these credentials. A strong foundation in airbrush and manual makeup techniques is required, along with a commitment to continued education. We ask that makeup artists complete a minimum of 8 hours of professional education each year to stay current with trends, products, and techniques.
K Bella offers a fun, collaborative, and drama-free atmosphere supported by an experienced front desk team and in-house marketing. Our website and local visibility consistently bring in new clients, helping artists grow their books naturally. This role offers commission-based opportunities and flexible scheduling, whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time work.
Our marketing is handled in-house by co-owner Ben Sayers, who brings over 20 years of professional marketing experience to the business. Since opening, this has been a major driver of consistent client demand across all service areas.
